WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Illustrated Nail Art Studio requests at least 48-hour notice of any cancellation, rescheduling, or service change. Cancellations within a 48-hour window are subject to a 50% fee of the scheduled service. No-shows and same-day cancellations within a 24-hour window are subject to a 100% fee of the scheduled service.

CAN I HOST AN EVENT AT ILLUSTRATED NAIL ART STUDIO?

We do host private events scheduled in advance. Please email us at contact@illustrated-studio.com to speak to management and coordinate events in salon or off-site.

WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE TO AN APPOINTMENT?

We encourage clients to arrive on time or 5 minutes early to check in for their appointment. we try our best to accommodate clients should they run late, however, after 15 minutes, we may need to abbreviate the initial scheduled service, or the appointment may be cancelled based on the time you arrive for your service.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JAPANESE AND KOREAN GEL VS. OTHER BRANDS?

Japanese and Korean gel are vegan, non-toxic, and cruelty free. They have a thicker viscosity for extra strength, which allows for your manicure to last longer.

WHAT IF I ALREADY HAVE PRODUCT ON MY NAILS?

If you have product on from another salon, please be sure to schedule the appropriate removal add-on. This ensures our stylists have enough time to provide the service. If you do not schedule a removal, we may not be able to accommodate your service as scheduled.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN STRUCTURE GEL AND REGULAR GEL?

Structured gel has a stronger consistency and thickness to it that is natural but allows your manicure to last longer. Regular gel lacks strength and durability.

WHAT IS A LIFT GEL PEDICURE?

Our Lift Gel Pedicure includes our standard pedicure in addition to an innovative Korean product that corrects ingrown nails. We recommend scheduling a series of 3-4 for optimal results.

POLICIES

LATE ARRIVALS

In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, we ask clients to arrive on time for their appointments. Clients arriving 10-15 minutes late may receive an abbreviated service and will be charged for the full service scheduled. Clients arriving more than 20 minutes late will forfeit their original appointment and will be imposed with a fee of 100% of the scheduled service.

CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW

Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment time are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment are subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service. Same day cancellations and no-shows are subject to a fee of 100% of the scheduled service. Clients who refuse to pay cancellation fees will be unable to reschedule until the amount is paid.

SERVICE GUARANTEE AND REFUNDS

Client satisfaction is our highest priority. If clients are not completely contented, we ask they let us know during their appointment or within 24 hours after the service has been performed. We are committed to making any needed corrections and if there was fault on our side, to offer a refund.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

Our salon staff has the right to refuse service to anyone behaving improperly, intoxicated, or if their state of health may influence the effects of the service.

HEALTH HISTORY

For client comfort and safety, please notify our stylists of any allergies, physical issues or disabilities, or if pregnant. If any discomfort or other symptoms are experienced during the service, we ask clients to alert their service provider immediately.

CHILD POLICY

As we are concerned with both client and child safety, we strictly prohibit unsupervised children in the salon. In emergency situations, please provide proper supervision for them in the form of an additional caretaker.

CELLPHONE POICY

We ask clients to refrain from cell phone use during their manicure service for health concerns and timing purposes. At Illustrated we aim to provide to best service possible, so we encourage clients to limit phone usage throughout the duration of their appointment. If you must take a call, we recommend using a hands-free method such as Air-Pods or headphones.
